What We Offer?
Each individual will receive a welcome pack containing essentials like shampoo, shower gel, a towel, cutlery, a mug, bedding, gym membership, access to driving instructor services, college/career advice, and a personal journal with a pen for keyworker sessions. These sessions help them learn important skills to grow and become more independent.
They will also have access to exciting opportunities like gym memberships and driving lessons when they’re old enough. Plus, they can get advice about school or career ideas for the future. There’s no rush to move on – everyone takes their time until they’re ready. Along the way, kind staff will help with important things like setting up a bank account, getting a passport, and learning how to manage money. When the time is right, the staff will be there to help them settle into their very own home, step by step.

At OSEQ we want to provide a safe haven of transformative care for vulnerable children, empowering them to heal from trauma and realise their full potential in a supportive and nurturing environment.

The timeline for when a young person transitions to their own space is flexible, as the focus is on ensuring they are fully prepared and confident before taking this big step. The goal is to help them gradually learn important life skills suited to their age. During this time, they will be supported in understanding how to manage basic tasks, such as saving money, staying organized, and becoming responsible for their daily activities.
When they show readiness, they will be guided through small, manageable steps towards greater independence. This might include learning how to handle small responsibilities at home or school, so they are better prepared for the challenges of independent living as they grow older. The process is designed to ensure they feel supported, confident, and capable as they develop these important skills.
